Mogadishu, (Halbeeg News) – Somalia’s newly appointed Director of the Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency Mustaf Sheikh Ali Duhulow officially assumed office Wednesday in a ceremony attended by Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre, members of his cabinet, and members of parliament.
Duhulow took over office from his predecessor Ahmed Said Mohamed who provided a comprehensive report on the agency’s operations and achievements.
Prime Minister Hamza who took a tour of the agency’s headquarters met staff who briefed him on ongoing initiatives highlighting the government’s commitment to provide efficient immigration and citizenship services.
Dhuhulow expressed his commitment to building on the progress made under his predecessor. He pledged to introduce innovative reforms and ensure the agency continues to serve the Somali people effectively to ensure progress and prosperity.
“The Somali Immigration and Citizenship Agency has made remarkable strides in recent years. My focus will be to enhance these achievements and address the pressing tasks ahead,” Dhuhulow stated.
Expectations are high for the new director’s leadership to bring further advancements in service delivery and operational efficiency.
