(Halbeeg News) – Somalia’s new ambassador to Qatar on Wednesday presented credentials to Qatar’s state minister for Foreign affairs.
Qatar’s state minister for Foreign Affairs Sultan Bin Sa’ad Al-Muraikhi and Somalia’s new envoy to Doha, Abdirisack Farah Ali met at Mr. Al-Muraikhi’s office at the headquarters of Qatar’s ministry for Foreign Affairs.
Al-Muraikhi said that Qatar had enjoyed a strong mutual understanding with his predecessor and hoped that the partnership between the two countries will continue during the term of the new Somali ambassador in Doha.
The minister assured to provide all support to upgrade bilateral relations and promote areas of co-operation in various fields between Qatar and his countries in different spheres
Mr. Al-Muraikhi wished the new ambassadors success in his mission.
For his part, Mr. Ali pledged to use his new position to enhance Somalia-Qatar relations and deepen ties between Mogadishu and Doha.
