National Security Conference is expected to kick off in Baidoa , the administrative capital of Southwest state.
The security of Baidoa town has been beefed up with hundreds of forces deployed across the town.
Somali President, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo will open the forum, which will focus on security issues, building the army and setting up policy agendas.
Leaders from the federal member states, federal government officials and Mogadishu Mayor have arrived in Baidoa town on Tuesday to attend the conference.
The conference will run for two days.
The leader of Southwest state, Sharif Hassan Sheikh Aden has hosted President Farmajo, Prime Minister Hassan Ali Kheire, Regional Leaders and ministers for Iftar in Baidoa town.
