MOGADISHU ( Halbeeg News) – The mayor of Mogadishu who also acts as the Governor of Banadir region, Abdirahman Omar Osman laid the foundation stone for a new tarmac road to be established in the capital on Sunday.
The tarmac road will connect Ali Kamin junction with Ifka Halane intersection that links with Sodonka and Warshadaha roads.
Speaking during the launch of construction ceremony, Engineer Yarisow said the new road will be very significant in the flow of traffic in the city.
“Today I launched the construction of new tarmac road that will connect Ali Kamin to Ifka Halane to Sodonka and Warshadaha road.” He said, adding, “It is the ninth tarmac road that we implemented for the past one and half road we were in office.”
Mogadishu Mayor further said that there are other ongoing projects which some are in the final stages.
“They are ongoing development projects in Banadir region aimed at improving life in the city, ” he said
