MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – A court in the Somali capital has today sentenced three people to death penalty after they were found guilty of killing and burning a man in Mogadishu.
In a statement, the court has said the suspects were found guilty of killing and burning Ahmed Dowlo following a dispute with the victim.
Late Dowlo was killed last September following allegations that his nephew eloped a girl from his neighbor.
Among the convicted are Hussein Idow Mohamed Ali, Asli Abdulle and Aweys Idow Mohamed.
The court also acquitted four others.
