Somali military has concluded hearings into the cases of three Al-Shabab suspects who were allegedly masterminds of attack on a hotel in Mogadishu.
The trio was arrested two days after the attack, by the security forces following investigations.
Farhan Mohamed Samatar, Abdinasir Dakane Hassan and Abshir Mohamed Haji Bule were accused of taking an Al-Shabab attack on Nasahablod-II which the group killed over dozen civilians.
The prosecutors said the defendants have been working under the frame of Al-Shabab since they were arrested by the security forces.
The prosecution said the men supervised and directed the attack on the hotel.
The lawyers of the suspects have dismissed the charges leveled against the trio claiming their clients were misled by Al-Shabab.
The judge of the military court has said the court will issue the verdict next sitting.
A date for the verdict has not yet been set.
The Nasahablod-ii attack which occurred on 28th October 2017 had claimed lives of 18 people and injured more than 40 people.
Among those killed in the attack were politicians and interior minister of Southwest state in Somalia, Madobe Nunow Mohamed.
