BELEDWEYNE (Halbeeg News) – Hirshabelle regional state interior minister, Mohamed Ali Cadle has dismissed two district commissioner on Thursday.
In a letter seen by Halbeeg News, Mr. Cadle relieved duties from the district commissioners of Bula-Burte and Jalalaqsi, Abdi Dahir Gure and Ibrahim Nur Madobe respectively.
The ministry has appointed Mohamed Nur Cagajoof as the new commissioner for Jalalqsi and Abdulaziz Abdullahi Abdi for Bula-Burte district.
The move of the regional state interior ministry follows previous power standoff in Jalalaqsi district after former commissioner who was relieved of his duties refused to leave the office.
The decision by minister Cadle is expected to bring an end to the difference that led the division.
