Hirshabelle State Assembly has went on one month recess following four months of House Business.
Speaking at conclusion of the session on Wednesday,the deputy president of Hirshabelle State, Ali Abdullahi Hussein (Gudlaawe) has commended the lawmakers for their commitment to complete the session.
“We know that Hirshabelle lawmakers have been working under difficult conditions, You have done a lot of work therefore the third session of the Assembly officially concluded,” said Gudlawe.
During session, Hirshabelle Parliament has passed bills and 2018 budget of the state.
In February, the lawmakers approved the first budget of the state for the first time since its inception in 2016.
The President of Hirshabelle state, Mohamed Abdi Aware applauded the parliament’s endorsement of the budget which was $8,556,34.
The members of the House are expected to resumed their operation after the end of Ramadan, according to the parliament leadership
