The security concluded the siege and secured the building after a gun battle that lasted for two hour at the ministry of interior in the capital, Mogadishu.

The minister of information of Somali government, Dahir Mohamud Gelle addressing the journalists at headquarters of the ministry said the government forces managed to conclude the attack on the government building.
Gelle stated that all the attackers that stormed the building were killed by the security forces , but the minister has not confirmed the number of the killed during the attack.
