MOGADISHU ( HALBEEG NEWS) – The President of Somalia Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has chaired the federal government and regional state leadership forum in Mogadishu on Sunday.
The talks will focus on agreeing on the resolutions made in Dhusamareb three meetings regarding the election model.
Other national interest topics such as security and economic development are also top on the agenda.
The leaders of Puntland, Jubbaland, Southwest, Hirshabelle, and the governor of Banadir attended the crucial talks.
President Farmajo welcomed the efforts of the leaders to agree on the essential national interest issue.
“The President welcomes the efforts of the leaders of regional states and Governor of Benadir Region to attend the conference, as it is now unanimous that this conference is important for the implementation of the country’s elections.
The head of state President Farmajo held a preliminary meeting with regional state leaders prior to the long-awaited summit.
