The new Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiye Ahmed has arrived in Kenya for two state visit.
PM Ahmed will hold talks with Kenyan president, Uhuru Kenyatta on regional integration, peace and security.
Key among the discussions will be regional stability and the border security of the two nations, according to Presidential entrounge officials in Nairobi.
Kenya’s President Uhuru has invited PM Abiye for a State Visit to discuss ways of enhancing relations between the two nations.
An invitation letter delivered by Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary, the President stated that the two countries have always worked together from the beginning.
This will be the third foreign visit of PM Abiye , after Djibouti and Sudan since his swearing-in on 2 April.
Ahmed was appointed by Ethiopia’s ruling party in March and sworn in as Prime Minister in April.
