The minister lauded the staff of the ministry and the exam observers in centers in the Somali capital.
“In Mogadishu, the exams were keeping insecure place and there was no third party between where the exams were (the ministry and its staff including the invigilator s and supervisors) and the students, we are satisfied that in Mogadishu where 80% of the students are, the exams had not been leaked,” he noted.

“Unfortunately, in one of the 100 centers, the people entrusted with the exam decided to leak, some of those people were nabbed by the security agencies and others are still under the radar, the agencies infiltrated messages shared on WhatsApp, they (agencies) realized where exam leak is distributed and some of the people involving are detained while others are still hunted,” he confirmed, “We are waiting to know the reason which forced the exam to leaked from (investigation of ) security agencies. In fact, I am confident that they (the security agencies) will come up with the cause if I cooperate with them. If it (the reason for the leakage) is the purpose of business, those involved in will be seized and will be brought to court.”
He announced that the examination will be re-done across the country.
“After the ministry discussed with the education stakeholders, the ministry decided to cancel all the exams and restart (exams) because it not possible (to accept) all exams to be leaked,” he said.
