MOGADISHU ( MOGADISHU) – The fighters from the armed group al Shabaab have attacked Elite hotel in Liido beach in Abdulaziz district in Mogadishu.
According to Ministry of Information Spokesman Mukhtar Ismail, the fighters gained access inside the hotel before an car bomb exploded at the entrance and they are exchanging fire with security forces.
Several people are trapped inside the seaside hotel.
