MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – General Bashir Gobe who was appointed the head of the national intelligence agency NISA by Prime Minister early this month has picked Mohamed Muhidin Jimaale as Mogadishu intelligence boss in yet another round of battles with President Mohamed Farmaajo.
The vacancy at Banaadir Regional administration which encompasses the capital Mogadishu was occasioned by the appointment of Col. Yasin Abdullahi Faroole by Farmaajo to head NISA. Col Faroole was until his elevation for head of intelligence in Banaadir region.
Both Faroole and Gobe hold on to the position of head of NISA following their appointments by Farmaajo and Roble respectively.
The new appointment by Gobe today is likely to herald another tiff between PM Roble and Farmaajo both of who have had running battles in recent weeks.
