Armed group killed a couple after they stormed their house in Awdiinle locality in Bay region on Saturday.
The slain couple was well known business people in the region as local people in the area confirmed.
Two men armed with pistols attacked the couple at their house in Awdile at late hours of the night and left the scene hurriedly.
The local administration of Awdinle told the media that they aware of the incident and are conducting operations to pursue the perpetrators.
The motive behind the murder of this couple is not known as no group claimed the responsibility of the incident so far but the government normally blames normally Al-shabab fighters of behind these kind of assassinations.
No one was arrested in connection with the murder of the couple.
