A Somali soldier and two other civilians were killed in Mogadishu during a brief gun battle between the security forces and African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) troops on Friday night.
The clashes reportedly erupted after a convoy of AU troops forcefully crossed a security checkpoint at Km4 manned by the Somali soldiers.
Other reports indicate that AMISOM convoy was denied to access the street that was shut down by government forces while conducting security operations.
Witnesses told Halbeeg that AMISOM troops went to their main headquarters, Halane base near Adan Adde Airport after incident.
AMISOM officials did not comment on the latest atrocity committed by their troops.
The impunity enjoyed by AMISOM troops implicated in civilian killings for the one decade.
Last year, a 20-page UN reports accused the peace-keeping of violating human rights and humanitarian law.
The report said the Mission killed over 37 civilians in four Months.
No soldier of AU has been arrested or prosecuted for the atrocities committed since 2007 when AU deployed its first troops in Somalia.
