Hirshabelle President, Mohamed Abdi Ware on Monday held talks with delegates from United Nations in Beledweyne town of Hiran region.
The officials who were from the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and UN office in Hirshabelle state have discussed wide range issues including on the development projects and productivity of the state with president Ware.
The official who was leading the UN delegates said UN will launch job creation and capacity building projects in the state which will be categorized into three phases including training for laborers, job creation and rebuilding of industries in Hirshabelle state.
The representative of UN envoy to Somalia who also attended the meeting has pledged support for Hirshabelle state saying UN will help the state in the sides of security, political and economic .
President Ware has lauded the commitment of United Nations to support his administration underlining that his government will make good use of the projects to be implemented.
Ware said the first and second phases of the project will be launched in Beledweyne and Jowhar towns respectively so as to empower the youth and create job opportunities for the young jobless youth in the state.
“Hirshabelle state areas are famous with productivity and Industries. These projects will create jobs for many young people in the state,” said Ware.
The meeting was also attended by regional ministers, Hiran governor, officials from Beledweyne district as well as the region.
