BUJUMBURA (Halbeeg News)-Somali President Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo has arrived in Djibouti on Tuesday evening after his two-day official trip to Burundi.
President Farmajo and his Burundian counterpart, Pierre Nkurunziza agreed to strengthen diplomatic relations between the two states and intensify fight against terror.
A delegation headed by Somali head of state later reached Djibouti capital on Tuesday evening.
Somali leader was welcomed by Djibouti Defence Minister, Ali Hassan Bahdoon and other senior governmental officials.
President Farmajo is scheduled to meet his Djiboutian counterpart, Ismail Omar Gelle on Wednesday.
The two leaders will discuss issues of mutual interest between the two brotherly states.
Djibouti troops are part of African Union peacekeeping troops serving in sector four in Hiil Walaal operation.
