MOGADISHU ( Halbeeg News)-Banadir regional administration has announced the renovation of Howlwadag district headquarters on Wednesday.
The deputy governor responsible for finance and management, Hussein Mohamed Noor alongside his social services affairs counterpart, Basma Sheikh Ali led the ceremony for the foundation stone at the headquarters.
Howlwadag district commissioner, Abdikarim Ali Kaar reiterated his office commitment to deliver government services saying the modern facility is geared towards fulfilling that responsibility.
Banadir region deputy governor, Hussein Mohamed Noor said attacks by the armed group al-Shabaab would not deter his administration move to improve the provision of local authority’s services to the residents of the capital.
“We are rebuilding all the districts headquarters in the Banadir administration into a modern facility to improve the services provided,” he said.
Al-Shabaab suicide bomber drove into Howlwadag district headquarters on September last year killing five people and injuring scores of others.
