ADADO( Halbeeg News)- Security forces in Adado town of central Somalia have intercepted six trucks loaded with cargo.
The officials said the forces confiscated the vehicles which were carrying suspected cargo at a checkpoint in the outskirts of the town.
Galmudug minister for presidency, Omar Mohamed Diriye said the authorities suspect that the vehicles were loaded with military consignment.
“Security forces have seized these vehicles after they were suspected of transporting military supply,” the minister said.
Authorities of Galmudug state say the police launched investigation to know the consignment loaded with the trucks.
According to sources, the drivers told the police that they traveled from Djibouti and were heading to Mogadishu.
It is not yet clear the destination and ownership of the vehicles.
