MOGADISHU (Halbeeg News) – Somali Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Issa Awad on Sunday received copies of the credential of Aline Kuster-Menager, the new ambassador of France to Somalia.
Mr. Awad met with the new envoy at his office in Mogadishu where they discussed the bilateral relations of the two countries.
The Minister wished the new Ambassador success in her mission, assuring to provide all support to upgrade bilateral relations and promote areas of cooperation in various fields between Somalia and her countries in different spheres.
During the meeting, French Ambassador Kuster-Menager expressed her gratitude for his welcome and good wishes, stressing that she would exert maximum efforts to raise the Somali-French friendly relations to a qualitatively new level
The presentation of the copies of credentials was attended by a number of Somali Foreign Ministry officials.
Ms. Kuster-Menager who is also the France ambassador to Kenya will operate in Nairobi as France maintains a non-resident diplomatic mission in Kenya for Somalia.
