REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Community Outreach, Events Management and Partner Engagement services
The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) hereby solicits Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent companies to undertake Community Outreach, Events Management and Partner Engagement services in support of the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM), United Nations Assistance Mission in Somalia (UNSOM), and United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS).
AU/UN IST engages local, regional and international media by facilitating access to high‐profile journalists and commentators, distributing photographs, videos, and public information with unremitting focus on narrative transformation towards shaping a positive agenda. The AU/UN IST objective is to create awareness of the missions’ mandates in their efforts to assist the Federal Government of Somalia (FGS) and the Somali people to build a stable, peaceful and prosperous Somalia based on respect for the rule of law, Somali traditions, culture, and values.
The successful contractor will therefore provide Community Outreach, Events Management and Partner Engagement services in support of aforementioned AU/UN IST project objective.
UNSOS intends to enter into an agreement for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for additional two (2) one-year periods ( 1+1+1) subject to satisfactory performance at the discretion of UNSOS. The duration of each quarterly assignment is three weeks (21 calendar days) per contract year.
The operations will be performed across Somalia covering the following sectors and any other places upon request clients:
Sector 1: Mogadishu, Afgooye, Marka, Barawe, Qoryoorey
Sector 2: Dhobley, Afmadow
Sector 3: Baidoa, Huddur, Burhakaba, Dinsoor
Sector 4: Beledweyne, Jalalaqsi, Mahas, Bula Burto
Sector 5: Jowhar, Balcad, Mahaday, Bio Adde
Sector 6: Kismayo
The contractor shall appoint a Resident Project Manager based permanently in Mogadishu for the duration of the contract.

- United Nations Global Market (UNGM) Registration Number. Company must be registered in this line of business.
- Company’s Contact Details: Company Name, Contact Person, UNGM Number, Company Address, Telephone Numbers, Mobile Numbers, and Official E-mail address must be provided.
This Request for Expression of Interest (REOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOS reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that such firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
